Inspired by our travels, the PONGO model is a lightweight, comfortable, and functional all-terrain running shoe. It combines technical outdoor features with the style of your favorite everyday sneakers for maximum versatility and durability. It will accompany you wherever your daily adventures take you, whether in the city or in the great outdoors. The PONGO is sustainable in every way: 100% vegan, made from recycled materials, but above all comfortable and very durable. It's the only pair of sneakers you'll ever need.

STAY DRY AND STRONG, SEIZE EVERY ADVENTURE

Robust and water-friendly: At MEEKO, we can't stand wet socks or shoes with holes in them. Our sneakers feature an internal membrane and water-repellent treatment so you won't get caught out in the rain. Please note that this is not a 100% waterproof "rain boot" type construction. We offer an excellent "all-season" compromise that significantly slows down water penetration while ensuring the sneaker's breathability. The water-repellent treatment protects them from dirt and makes cleaning very easy. 

 

To ensure maximum abrasion resistance, MEEKO sneakers are made from recycled Cordura® canvas, which is tear-resistant yet breathable. This material has been the key to the success of Eastpak backpacks, which have brilliantly survived our middle school and high school years. If you want to say hello to your big toe, you'll have to wear flip-flops.

Soft cushioning and maximum grip: enjoy the performance of trail running insoles for long, active days. These technical insoles offer perfect grip on both dry and wet surfaces, exceptional walking comfort, and above-average durability. Usually used for trail running or hiking shoes, we've combined them with a stylish urban upper, giving you the best of both worlds.

DURABLE IN EVERY WAY

A holistic approach of durability : Made of 100% vegan, biobased and recycled materials. Is that enough ? Nope, but that’s a good start.

 

Durability starts with products that last. That’s why we also select sturdy innovative fabrics from outdoor industry, like the Cordura® recycled nylon. This tearproof structure combined with highly durable Vibram soles are making MEEKO shoes way more resistant than regular sneakers. 

 

Even if it was extremely painful for the team, we destroyed a few pairs in a French specialized test center to ensure that our sneakers matched our high expectations.
