The purpose of this article is to explain to you the reasons why we are launching this blog.

So why a blog? Because we like to write and the writings remain. This is not the case for a daily Instagram post which, once published, will disappear in the meanders of our feed (rest assured we still have an Instagram page ). We also think that this is the best way to make you want to follow us by familiarizing you with our tone (be careful, it rocks), our universe, our vision, our mission as an eco-responsible brand and that Human being.

Focus on a brand of sustainable sneakers

This blog will first contain articles relating to our history, as a sneaker brand trying to do the right thing. We will follow a common thread to tell you who we are, where we come from and where we want to go. For example, you can find information on the co-founders of MEEKO and the reasons that led us to embark on this adventure or our definition of sustainability, a fashionable catch-all word that must be handled with tweezers. We will explain to you, among other things, what is behind the design of our sneakers, the materials available to us and the compromises we have chosen to make, the issue of choosing the production site, the challenge of the end life of the products or our commitment to associations with NGOs fighting for the protection of endangered species. In short everything, everything, everything, you will know everything (we let the oldest among you finish the chorus).

These articles will be aimed at the curious who want to understand what is behind a brand and who want to get to know us better in order to talk about us better to their little friends afterwards!

As you can imagine, we are obviously very sensitive to everything related to sustainable development and to the great entrepreneurial projects involved in it. And even if it all starts with the feet (or underpants for some), we are keen to tell you about all these initiatives that make sense to us. We will therefore regularly share articles on broader topics such as our favorite sustainable fashion brands, a top project to support on Ulule , Kickstarter or KissKissBankBank , our favorite blogs or a podcast that inspires us, for example. If you are interested in a particular subject, let us know and we will surely make an article about it (if there is matter of course).
